The customer service was terrible. I contacted the tour supplier to check if the tour was still on due to the rain, and they assured me it was, with the driver en route. We waited an hour at our hotel, only for them to later inform me the tour was cancelled. It's frustrating when they give conflicting information. Now, customer service won’t even offer a partial refund, which feels very unprofessional.
This was an excellent adventure. The crew was fantastic, and we were able to enjoy beautiful beaches without the typical crowds found on other tours. We had about 90 minutes or more at each beach, unlike the usual 30 minutes offered on other tours, which made the experience much more enjoyable without repeatedly getting on and off the boat.
The tour included a two-hour boat ride to the first site and another two hours back, but it felt less hurried than our previous experience. It wasn't as engaging, except when I unexpectedly encountered a black-tipped shark while snorkeling.
Be warned—two different travel agencies treated us poorly. For trip B, the organizer claimed we would share a boat with others but instead charged us 1000php for a kayak that was barely usable. We also booked a second trip to three beaches, but halfway through, the organizer turned us back due to weather conditions, which he should have anticipated before we left. We returned wet, cold, and hungry, and only received a partial refund.
The tour allocates just 3.5 hours for beach time, while 4.5 hours are spent on the boat. Our group of 14 included three pairs of travelers and a larger group of eight, and the guide mostly focused on the larger group. The islands are fine for those who enjoy lounging on the beach, but it's not ideal for more active participants.
