Renting bikes was an excellent way to explore Garden of the Gods. The pickup process was straightforward, and the staff provided instructions on bike usage and guided us to the trailhead. I would certainly rent again.
The ride and tour were absolutely wonderful. Our guide provided fantastic insights about the area, made all the right stops, and assisted us as we navigated the e-bikes as semi-novices. I highly recommend this experience! Though we had previously visited the garden, we still enjoyed this ride and appreciated seeing the town's history.
We chose this rental based on previous reviews, and we were not disappointed. The quality of the bikes was excellent, and the owners, Greg and his son, were both friendly and professional. Accessing Garden of the Gods was easy, and as it was our first experience with e-bikes, the instructions were clear and straightforward. Greg took the time to escort us close to the entrance, ensuring we felt confident and wouldn't get lost, which made a significant difference. Riding an e-bike proved to be the perfect way to explore, especially as we passed long lines of cars trying to find parking. Although I considered booking a guided tour, I'm glad we opted for a self-directed exploration since it allowed us to go at our own pace and navigate easily. While guided tours may offer access to off-road areas, the paved paths provided plenty of beautiful sights for our first visit. We rented the bikes for two hours, which was just right, starting at 10:00 am as recommended by another reviewer since parking in town can fill up quickly. We managed to find street parking right in front of the rental location. If you're visiting Colorado Springs, this is a must-do activity. It exceeded my expectations, and my husband enjoyed it just as much.
What an incredible experience to explore Garden of the Gods! We rented e-bikes for two hours and had a fantastic time, capturing amazing photos. The guidance we received was excellent, and our instructor took us to the trailhead to ensure we felt at ease before we ventured out. I can't imagine touring Garden of the Gods in any other way. I would do this again without hesitation!
Exploring the Garden of the Gods on E-bikes is truly the best option. You can easily navigate at your own pace without needing a guided tour. This location offers high-quality bikes at a fair price. We made a reservation, and upon arrival, our bikes were ready with adjusted seats. The owner provided an excellent tutorial that made us feel comfortable as first-timers, and he was exceptionally friendly, even walking us to the park entrance.
This experience was truly incredible! I had so much fun biking through the Garden of the Gods. I would definitely do it again without hesitation.
We had an incredible time on this adventure. The teenagers loved every moment, and mom and I appreciated the chance to explore each location. Using e-bikes was a big hit with the whole family.
I have shopped here many times before and always enjoyed my visits, making this experience particularly disappointing. I went with my father, who is disabled and undergoing cancer treatment, and he urgently needed to use a restroom due to a medical issue. As I was guiding him toward the restroom I had previously used, an employee interrupted us, stating that the restroom was outside. When I inquired if he could use the restroom inside, she dismissively waved her hands, returned to her computer, and claimed, “I’m the only one here.” At that moment, there were no other customers in the store. Consequently, my father had to leave the shop and walk to a public restroom outside. I later called the store to provide feedback to the owner or management since I once recommended this business to others. However, when I asked for the owner's contact information, the person on the line refused to provide it and instructed me to submit feedback online. When I tried to respond, I was hung up on. I have since discovered that the employee I spoke to in the store and over the phone was actually the owner, Barb. This realization heightens my concern regarding her dismissive attitude in the store, unwillingness to engage, and the lack of accountability. I can no longer endorse this business, especially for families with disabled members or people of color.
The staff is incredibly friendly and supportive, especially Brady, who went above and beyond to assist us. We had a mini adventure exploring Garden of the Gods, and it was surprisingly easy to ride the bikes in this stunning park. I highly recommend this experience. It’s a great value for a simple way to enjoy sightseeing and spend quality time with family. We will definitely return.
We had a rental agreement that included a vehicle from Fox Car Rental in Denver. They convinced us to switch from a 2-wheel drive SUV to a 4-wheel drive SUV by calling it an upgrade, but they charged us a full new rental fee, disregarding our package deal. We mistakenly trusted the agent's claim that it was simply an upgrade, yet they imposed all the extra fees and taxes along with the complete rental charge instead of a partial fee for the upgrade, despite these costs being included in the original deal. Our costs skyrocketed from $262 to $861. We requested a refund for the additional charges since we were double-billed, but Fox declined, claiming we accepted the higher fees upon receiving the car. This is unethical behavior; it is clearly unfair and should serve as a warning to others about trusting them. We will not rent from Fox again and strongly advise that they are not a reliable partner, but rather a company eager to extract as much as possible from customers, even when it is unjust.
