Our planned trip ended up being canceled because of bad weather, which was disappointing as it was our first adventure. However, our guide Greg was informative and emphasized that safety was the main concern. He suggested a balloon ride for the next day, but we couldn't sign up. If we return to Colorado Springs, I would recommend him.
This was a fantastic experience, from watching the balloon inflate to getting into the basket and taking off. It offers a fresh perspective, although you won’t fly directly over Pikes Peak or Garden of the Gods, just see them from afar. The flight crew was excellent. Prepare for an early wake-up, but it’s totally worth it.
