This excursion was fantastic! Amanda, our jeep driver, was incredibly friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable. I highly suggest taking this tour instead of driving yourself, as you might miss the stunning sights while navigating the steep and winding roads. Make sure to bring a jacket, as it gets cold at the summit.
I wish I could express in words how magical this experience was. The tour began with a friendly meet-up in a parking lot, where I met my guide Amanda. Right from the start, she treated me like an old friend and made sure I had snacks, water, and Gatorade to feel comfortable. We drove to the trek's beginning, and the gate attendant warmly recognized Amanda. Our trip was initially delayed due to snowfall but thankfully the summit had just opened, which thrilled Amanda like it was her first time seeing it. Her enthusiasm greatly enhanced the experience. Since I’d never visited Pikes Peak before, I appreciated the photo stops and her extensive knowledge about the mountain and the area. When I asked her how often she visits the summit, she shared she makes over 700 trips a year for more than ten years, which means over 7,000 visits. Yet, she displayed the same excitement as if it were her first time. I had an incredible day, highly recommend this tour, and am grateful to Amanda for making it one of the best experiences of my life.

We arrived on a chilly, foggy morning, concerned that the tour might be disappointing due to the visibility. However, we were greeted by Amanda, whose upbeat attitude quickly reassured us. She provided a comfortable Jeep with a retractable hard top and offered snacks, Gatorade, and water. We ventured as far as possible before icy roads halted our progress. Amanda was engaging and well-informed, and she also guided us through Manitou Springs afterward. I’m eager to join another tour with her and highly recommend booking this experience.
The jeep tour of Pike’s Peak with Amanda was amazing! We were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery without the worry of driving. Amanda was knowledgeable, friendly, and full of energy.
