2This route is an opportunity to explore some sumptuous castles in the region. Discover the Maison Courvoisier castle created in 1828, this will be an opportunity to explore an exceptional cellar. On your route you will be able to access Château Marnier-Lapostolle “Grand Marnier”, located in Bourg-Charente, is an ode to this tasty spirit, with its unique body and aromas. Next stop, the parks of the castles of Saint-Brice and Garde-Moulin. Dating from the 16th century, the fortifications of Saint-Brice dominate the Charente valley. The winery produces high quality spirits. End your tour with the two monumental towers of the Porte Saint-Jacques in Cognac. Dating from the 16th century, these round towers, in perfect condition, are witnesses to the exceptional historical heritage of the city.
