Watching the stunning sunset from the boat was a fantastic experience. We were lucky enough to see several dolphins, and the guides shared fascinating tales about curses related to hurricanes. The value for money is excellent.
This tour did not feature a sunset or dolphins, although that was not the operator's fault. It would have been appreciated if the captain and mate provided more narration, as there were long stretches without entertainment for the passengers.
The sunset cruise was fair, but the captain didn't seem enthusiastic about searching for dolphins. Earlier, we were on a different dolphin tour where they actively sought them out. I wouldn't choose this tour again.
I highly recommend this boat tour! My family had a wonderful time despite a delayed flight that made us late. They kindly accommodated us on a later trip with available spots. We saw many dolphins and collected numerous seashells on the sandbar. It was a lovely day, and Capt Matt and Eliza were fantastic! Eliza even took care of my 6-month-old while I searched for shells with my two-year-old and husband. My toddler adored her and enjoyed the ride and views. Thank you, Fins Up crew, for making us feel so welcome and helping us have a great time!
Our dolphin and swimming boat ride was fantastic! The captain and co-captain provided excellent information about the area. We encountered numerous dolphins, even witnessing some leaping in the waves by another boat. Exploring the island was a highlight, with some family members enjoying a swim and discovering plenty of large shells. After comparing several options, this ride was the best value for the experience.
We saw a lot of dolphins and had an enjoyable experience. The sandbar was a highlight, and I would definitely recommend this trip.
We enjoyed the Dolphins and Donuts morning cruise, which lasted a full hour and a half with a smooth ride. The crew did a fantastic job keeping the six or so families entertained as we waited for dolphins. We ultimately spotted a mother dolphin with her calf, though she kept some distance from the boat. Overall, the experience was worth the cost, and I would happily go again. If you appreciate leisurely, lively boat rides with dolphins, birds, and beautiful coastal views, this is a great option.
Fins Up offers a budget-friendly cruise suitable for everyone, making it a worthwhile experience for a pleasant boat ride, shoreline views, and learning about the region over an hour and a half. The chance to see dolphins is an added perk; if fortunate, they may get close enough for some great photos. Fins Up was truly one of the highlights of our visit to the Tampa area.
Fantastic two hours! The music was excellent, the information was informative, and we spotted several dolphins. A wonderful way to celebrate Mother’s Day and definitely worth the cost.
