Visiting the Rock Island Lighthouse was a fantastic experience, and I found the history of both the lighthouse and its keepers to be quite captivating. The guides on the boat and at the lighthouse were friendly and very well-informed. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this tour.
I had a pleasant and relaxing afternoon on the river. The narration was informative, and I found the lighthouse to be quite fascinating.
The crew was very friendly, and the boat ride was definitely worthwhile. My only disappointment was that I expected the boat to have a bar, which it did not.
We loved the entire experience! Captain Brian and Maggie shared fantastic stories. Although I often visit Murray Isle, I had never explored the backside of the island before.
As a local, I had never experienced the river cruises before. I truly appreciated being on the water and discovering interesting historical facts about the trade between the Atlantic and the Great Lakes. Be sure to turn off your cell phones, as you might incur international charges from Canadian towers while in the vicinity.
The tour and boat ride were fantastic, led by enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides who added a lot of fun to the experience. Our grandchildren, aged 14, 12, and eight, also had a great time.
I gained extensive knowledge about the islands. Our guide, Maggie, was friendly, articulate, and incredibly knowledgeable. It was refreshing to learn about much more than just Boldt Castle.
We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary celebration. The captain and tour guide were both fantastic, sharing many captivating stories and allowing ample time for guest interaction and questions. Initially, we thought an hour on the island might be excessive, but it turned out to be perfect. The island guide was excellent, and we appreciated the view from the lighthouse and the fascinating history of the island. We're really pleased we chose this experience and would highly recommend it to others.
The staff was friendly and well-informed, although the guide was occasionally difficult to understand because the microphone sounded muffled. It was noticeable, but it didn’t significantly affect the overall tour experience.
The glass bottom boat tour was truly fantastic. We enjoyed a lovely day with calm waters. Both the captain and tour guide were excellent, sharing lots of interesting facts and humor about the St. Lawrence River and its history. I highly recommend this experience, even if you're not particularly into boating; it’s enjoyable for everyone.
