The escape room experience was excellently designed, incorporating landmarks from the Banks area into the puzzles. Even as locals, we discovered some unfamiliar spots. It was flexible enough to pause, allowing us to attend to other activities and return later. While some puzzles were challenging, plenty of hints were available if needed.
Despite the rain, it turned out to be a wonderful experience. It's advisable to check the weather app in advance and come well-prepared. Bring a bag, notebook, water, and rain gear if it's necessary.
I went to collect the box and discovered it cost $50 in the store but $75 through this service. My husband and two teenagers joined me, and I've had great experiences with tours previously. However, this was excessively priced, and the clues were nearly impossible to solve. If you had to rely on all the hints, where's the enjoyment in that? Without the hints, it would have been unmanageable. I want a refund. This was the worst experience for my family.
The experience is enjoyable, though it can be a bit slow for younger children. Each clue requires you to think and solve a puzzle. It was quite hot during our visit. Overall, it's engaging, offers lessons about Cincinnati, its parks, and history, and challenges your mind. The Small Park and the Black Music Park are highlights.
This experience was fantastic! Everyone had a great time working through the puzzles, and the challenge level was just right—not overly tough but not too simple either. The final puzzle does need several hints. I strongly recommend it, especially since it’s located in the DORA district, allowing us to enjoy cocktails while we played.
The experience was enjoyable overall. We attended with a large group, larger than what they typically host, and everything went smoothly. Everyone had a great time exploring Cincinnati, which surprised me with its beauty. The only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating is that a few clues were inaccessible due to circumstances beyond the company's control, and I wish we had been informed about this before booking.
A distinctive method to discover the riverfront area in downtown Cincinnati. I appreciated the opportunity to pause for snacks or play, then resume the game. Some challenges were a bit difficult for children, but the hints provided assistance.
I found it to be excellent. There were five of us, all with college backgrounds or currently in school. It was challenging, but not overly so. Everyone contributed by solving parts of the puzzle or identifying crucial elements. From the beginning, we knew the outcome, but we had to put in effort to tackle each stage of the puzzle.
Our group was comprised of both adults and teenagers. This activity proved to be quite challenging, but numerous hints were available to assist us. In the beginning, we relied heavily on hints for the first obstacles, but by the end, we became more skillful and used fewer. We found joy in discovering the history of the Black Bridge Brigade and searching for clues. The Black Music Walk of Fame had the teenagers dancing along. Overall, it was an excellent educational experience, and we look forward to trying another Outdoor Escape room in the future. Thank you for a wonderful time.
We had a fantastic time. Our group was smaller than expected, as a few people had to cancel, so it was just me, my husband, and our 12-year-old grandson. The puzzles were both challenging and clever, clearly reflecting the effort that went into designing the game. I would definitely participate in another session with different puzzles.
