This two-hour guided tour takes you through Chattanooga’s Historic District, where you’ll explore haunted pubs and hear unsettling tales of the spirits that linger there. The group visits some of the city’s most infamous pubs and back alleys, which are home to many of these ghostly stories.
This tour is for those aged 21 and over only, so bring a valid photo ID. Note that all shirts must have sleeves; tank tops are not permitted. The tour runs in all weather conditions, so dressing appropriately for the season is advisable.

My wife and I are fans of ghost tours, and combining it with a pub crawl made this experience perfect for us. Having participated in haunted pub crawls in multiple locations, we found this tour to be exceptional. Our guide, Mariah, was engaging and provided great insights into Chattanooga's interesting yet tumultuous past. The group consisted of two other couples, which added to the fun. On the 4th of July, we started our adventure early. Mariah, a skilled storyteller, shared captivating tales of historical events, including stories about murderers and mayhem without spoiling the details. Each of the three stops offered us a chance to have at least one drink, and with Mariah’s activities, the tour kept us thoroughly engaged. The tour lasted about two hours, with minimal walking required, exploring downtown and some hidden gems we might have missed otherwise. This was a truly enjoyable experience that we wholeheartedly recommend.

The historical part of the tour was engaging, although not entirely accurate. However, I was disappointed as the guide became increasingly inebriated and was eating messily, even spilling ketchup on herself during her commentary.

Although the tour route and bars differed from the advertisement, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. In the end, it was definitely a valuable use of our time and money.
