We had a fantastic day exploring Prince Edward Island with our guide Wonda. He greeted us directly at the cruise terminal and quickly got us on our way. His extensive knowledge of the island's history enhanced our experience greatly. Throughout the North Shore, we visited unique spots including Brackley Beach, the historic Dalvay by the Sea hotel, and the house that inspired L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables. We enjoyed a great lunch at The Lost Anchor in Cavendish, explored beautiful gardens, and took in stunning views. Our tour concluded in Charlottetown, where we wandered through the lovely downtown. Wonda allowed us to explore at our own pace and captivated us with his insights. I strongly recommend his private tour, especially for cruise ship passengers—it's far more enjoyable than a standard shore excursion.
