Derek and Lily provided an outstanding tour experience. They shared a wealth of interesting information. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it to everyone.
This experience was perfectly timed for an hour, featuring an amazing guide and captain. Glenn made it enjoyable and informative while adding a touch of humor. I highly recommend it.
I had a great time; Lily provided excellent commentary and insights about Charlottetown and PEI. Derrick navigated the narrow streets with skill.
Glen, our guide, was wonderful. I gained a lot of knowledge about PEI. I would have liked him to continue speaking while we were in the harbour, but it was still a great tour overall.
Lily, our guide, was fantastic—very knowledgeable and articulate. She kept the tour entertaining and engaging. The driver, whose name I can't recall, was great as well. The tour covered many key sights both in the town and on the water, and we even spotted a little seal. We took the tour at 3:15 on September 30. Having done this tour with friends in Halifax several times, I thought it would be enjoyable in Charlottetown, and it truly was.
The excursion around Charlottetown and the harbor was fantastic, thanks to Captain Derek and tour guide Lily. The weather was perfect, and the Harbor Hopper crew did an excellent job showcasing local sights and dining options. Charlottetown is such a beautiful town. I appreciate the wonderful experience.
The skipper was great and very engaging, but the standout was Glen, our guide—he was knowledgeable, informative, and genuinely funny. He took the time to connect with each passenger and clearly enjoyed his job, making our tour unforgettable.
My husband and I had a wonderful time on the ride around Charlottetown and the harbor, guided by Captain Derek and tour guide Lily. Derek was an excellent captain, and Lily provided insightful information about the local history and attractions. Charlottetown is a beautiful city, and we look forward to visiting again in the future.
The harbor hopper is an amphibious vehicle for about two dozen passengers, featuring all seats on its upper half. As the captain navigated through land and water, our engaging guide, a friendly college student, provided insights into the significant sights of Charlottetown. We began with a thorough land tour of the central area. Though our captain didn't speak much, our guide excelled at highlighting key buildings, streets, churches, and landmarks. Once we finished the land tour, the captain swiftly drove into the harbor without stopping, which was a bit nerve-racking at first, but you soon realize the vehicle is safe. The boat tour through Charlottetown harbor was enjoyable, despite the chilly winds that day. Our guide pointed out intriguing features along the waterfront and the beautiful scenery of the bay, including a large gathering of seagulls and black cormorants. We also saw larger cruise ships at the docks and locals engaged in line-fishing. Overall, it was a relaxed and enjoyable hour that is definitely worth experiencing.
Everything was punctual, and the crew was friendly and full of energy. I appreciated the brief tour of the town, and the highlight was definitely getting in the water. However, I felt that the water time was a bit brief; I would have liked to spend more time in it and explore a bit further.
