Reviews
Shawn, our host and driver, was friendly and well-informed about the history of the town. The music playlist was excellent, and the food and drink stops were enjoyable. However, the seating was quite uncomfortable and outdated.
As mentioned by others, the commentary was difficult to hear, and two seats were broken. While it was pleasant to see the area, I felt it didn't offer good value for the money spent.
This was a truly enjoyable and distinctive experience. Our guide had great knowledge, and the pubs we visited were impressive. I highly recommend this tour.
We brought our three kids, ages 11, 13, and 14, and the experience was enjoyable only for the first few minutes. The cart was very slow and incredibly loud, making it hard to hear the music or the guide. The guide did stop for ice cream and allowed a brief 5-minute stop at a park. However, the seats were really uncomfortable, with one having a poorly padded bicycle seat that they claimed was a trial. Overall, this was a costly excursion given the poor condition of the transport.
We had a very disappointing experience. Despite booking the 11am walk, we were only four people, which meant we couldn't paddle ourselves. The bike was motor-driven, and our guide acted more like a driver with no engagement or interaction. It felt more like a party with just music and not a guided tour. After just 15 minutes, we stopped for a 40-minute dinner, and then another 40-minute break at a Mexican restaurant. This seems more suited for large groups of over ten who want to have their own fun. The initial cost is steep for what you receive.
We had an enjoyable time with friends, but it wasn't quite what we anticipated. Instead of pedaling extensively, a small motor assisted us. We expected three stops but only had one at a pub for a light lunch and a beer. At the end of the tour, we were invited to dine at their nearby eatery, which was good but on the pricey side.
Sean was fantastic, making the experience enjoyable and fun. I would definitely recommend it to everyone; it's worth doing to see different parts of the city.
This was a terrible experience that did not match the description provided. After only a 10-minute drive, we lingered at a pub for 45 minutes, and the driver claimed he couldn’t shorten the visit due to time constraints. I wouldn't suggest this to anyone. The owner I spoke to was also very dismissive of our concerns.
Shawn, our guide, was wonderful to converse with. He readily answered our questions about the area, making us feel right at home. We truly appreciate his warmth and are definitely planning to return with more friends. This experience was the highlight of our day in Charlottetown. Thank you!
I had a wonderful day with friends, and Matt was an excellent guide. A suggestion for one additional stop would enhance the experience, but overall, everyone enjoyed it very much.
