FAQ
Reviews
The tour did not take place as the organizer failed to show up. This feels like a scam. If it's not, the people in charge need to seriously improve their operations. Taking money from unsuspecting customers without delivering is dishonest. If we aren't refunded, we will involve the police.
The guide failed to show up, yet my credit card was charged without issue. Now I'm attempting to get a refund and am extremely unhappy with the experience. I would rate it a zero if possible.
The guide made the experience engaging by sharing personal stories and even included a couple of extra stops at locations that had special significance to her.
During the tour, we were encouraged to take photos, and we managed to capture images that appeared to show faces. Catherine was an excellent guide, making the experience enjoyable and sharing her personal insights along the way.
Our experience was fantastic thanks to our guide, Viktoria. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, making the tour engaging and entertaining throughout. We strongly recommend her as a tour guide.
The stories were engaging, and the history was fascinating. Make sure to wear a jacket on cooler evenings. If you're looking for a thrilling experience, the entity speaking app adds a nice touch.
Reubens, our guide, was both friendly and knowledgeable. We appreciated her local stories as well as her personal anecdotes. She facilitated a great conversation among herself and all the guests.
The guide was friendly, which was appreciated, but overall, the tour was only mediocre. A few historical details were inaccurate, and there was an emphasis on history mixed with ghost stories.
The tour was filled with historical insights. We ended up in a cemetery, which was quite dark. Our guide was both knowledgeable and kind.
Having participated in several ghost tours over the years, I found this one in Charlottesville disappointing. Unlike past experiences led by knowledgeable locals, this tour felt uninspired and poorly organized. It involved excessive walking with minimal historical insights. Visiting a cemetery seemed aimless, lacking meaningful stories about the residents. I typically avoid giving negative reviews, but this experience was not worthy of a better rating.
