During a recent conference, I managed to join the Queen City Black Legacy Walking Tour, and it was outstanding. Naomi effectively shared the region's history, including the establishment of Charlotte and highlighted various points of interest with a focus on the African American experience. She also pointed out several black-owned businesses that I visited later. I was surprised to learn about Queen Charlotte's African heritage, which I hadn’t known before. I highly recommend this tour.
