The experience was reasonably priced, so I found it to be worth the cost. However, we frequently lost audio connection, causing us to miss important information. I did learn some history about Charlotte, but the Count Dracula voice was unnecessary.
I have a passion for historic cemeteries. An interesting, albeit sad, detail is that some bodies were exhumed. We had lunch at Alexander Michael’s, and the directions were clear. We appreciated the eerie narration and crow sounds.
There were four of us on a lovely sunny day for the walk. We appreciated the narrator and his storytelling, along with the eerie music. It was extremely well executed, and I highly recommend this haunted walk.
The guide was knowledgeable, and we appreciated learning about the lesser-known history of the city. However, navigating some locations was challenging due to ongoing construction. Overall, it was a fun experience.
The experience was enjoyable and educational. We definitely got our steps in as well. I recommend using just one phone for the app to minimize any confusion.
I never got an email confirmation and couldn’t log into the tour. I wouldn’t suggest this experience. We ended up walking the route ourselves to at least get some exercise.
We were really looking forward to the walking tour to explore each site and learn the history. However, a family member had an accident the day before, resulting in a visit to urgent care. Although we couldn't participate in the tour, the host was very understanding and kindly refunded our tickets. I couldn't have asked for better customer service, and I hope to have another chance to take this tour in the future.
You can simply let it play while strolling to each attraction. We really enjoyed gaining deeper insights about Charlotte.
Be careful about crossing the street unless instructed to do so. Some locations are mentioned prior to showing the corresponding images. A few of the pictures are outdated, and some sites lack helpful signs. Despite these challenges, it was a fascinating historical tour that I’d gladly experience again. Following some of the instructions can be a bit confusing.
It was enjoyable and somewhat cheesy. It provided entertainment while allowing you to explore the city and pick up some historical tidbits.
