Reviews
This boat tour offers a lovely blend of history and sightseeing, providing a relaxing escape after a day of exploring Charleston. The narrator's informative and humorous commentary enhanced the experience. It was convenient to have drinks and snacks available for purchase, and the boat was clean with tidy restrooms. With our group of six, we were graciously allowed to board early to sit together. Once on board, you can unwind and take in the stunning views, or grab a refreshment. Overall, it was a delightful experience and a wonderful way to see Charleston from the water.
The day was cloudy and cold when we took the tour, which impacted our experience. While the ride could have been enjoyable in nicer weather, there wasn't much to see. The captain provided good commentary, but the tour lacked enough engaging content for the two-hour duration.
We had an excellent time on this tour! The staff were very welcoming, and it was enjoyable to pick up some historical insights. We were fortunate to see dolphins, which was a highlight. It was a delightful way to experience the city from a new perspective. Our group of seven all had a wonderful outing.
Avoid sitting in the front of the top deck, as the speaker there is not working, making it difficult to hear the captain’s commentary and resulting in a disappointing experience. The captain was knowledgeable and somewhat entertaining when we could hear him. After the cruise, I spoke with him, and he mentioned that he had reported the issue, but the company has no plans to address it. It would be helpful to have a sign indicating that the speaker is broken so that passengers can change seats in advance.
The crew was friendly, and Captain Dan's great personality and humor added to the experience. We learned a lot about Charleston's history during the cruise. It is very accessible for those with disabilities. Bring cash for drinks or snacks, as they don't accept credit cards. I found the prices a bit high; we paid $11 for a slushy lemonade. Aside from that, we had an enjoyable time.
The Captain provided an excellent narration about Charleston, the harbor, and many fascinating details about the area. It was a truly enjoyable evening.
I enjoyed my time immensely; the host was quite humorous, particularly when he joked about what to do if your hat were to blow away. The ride was both relaxing and informative.
The boat trip in Charleston, SC was excellent. The narration provided a wealth of information, the boat itself was spotless, and the snack bar offered great options. The crew was also very polite.
This tour was fantastic, offering stunning views and plenty of insights about the area. I highly recommend it for people of all ages. It’s definitely worth it.
The boat ride offered beautiful views and interesting historical commentary about the journey. The sunset by the bridge created stunning photo opportunities. However, getting good seating in the front proved difficult, as we weren't aware we needed to wait in a specific spot for the best views, despite arriving early. While the lower deck is enclosed, if you want the upper deck, you should arrive ahead of time. The staff were friendly, and there were mixed drinks and light snacks available on board. Although there were restrooms, one was out of order throughout the trip. Overall, I had an enjoyable experience.
