This experience was truly remarkable. We enjoyed a 2-hour tour on a fantastic 45-foot sailboat. Our guide Eric was friendly and ensured our comfort throughout. We were provided with cold drinks, pineapple, cushioned seating, and even blankets for warmth. We encountered several pods of dolphins and various bird species. Overall, the trip was delightful, and we would absolutely do it again.
This was an incredible experience for our family. We booked the 2-hour boat cruise, which turned out to be fantastic. Captain Gene was great with communication, confirming our reservation on the morning of and meeting us at the pier before we boarded. He shared his extensive knowledge about sailing and the surrounding waters throughout the trip. We all agreed we would book this charter a thousand times over. Captain Ed was also very helpful in assisting me from the beginning with the booking process.

Our family had an incredible day on Captain Eric’s Song of David. Coming from Colorado, where we see elk and moose, we wanted to spot whales on a private charter to avoid the crowded ferries. This choice allowed our two boys, aged 8 and 10, to have a fun adventure regardless of the marine life. Captain Eric was an excellent host, providing tasty snacks, drinks, blankets, and sharing fascinating insights about sailing and the waters we explored, which kept my AuDHD child engaged. The highlight came when we encountered a couple of Fin whales, including one that Captain Eric noted was possibly the largest he had seen! The whale swam right beside our 45-foot boat. We also enjoyed a pod of Common Dolphins, with babies swimming nearby while my oldest was amazed sitting at the front. To top it off, we spotted a Humpback Whale breaching in the distance multiple times. This was a worthwhile experience that our family will cherish forever, and I highly recommend it to others, though those prone to seasickness might want to consider a different option.
