What an exhilarating afternoon! The outfitters were highly organized, and our guide, Sam, was excellent. She ensured that everyone aboard felt at ease and ready to fully enjoy the experience.
Ethan Marsh was an outstanding guide who taught us teamwork to navigate the level 3-4 rapids safely. Everyone stayed on board as we experienced thrilling rapids. Ethan brought a cheerful attitude and shared fascinating history about the river and its surroundings. This route had more rapids than other local rafting companies. We'd definitely come back.
It was an amazing experience! Our guide was very supportive. We rode in a vehicle to the starting point and returned the same way. We always felt safe throughout the activity.
This was the most incredible rafting experience I have ever had. Our guide, Kristina, was exceptional—she was engaging, thoughtful, and conveyed her love for both rafting and life. The thrilling river and breathtaking views of the gorge were truly remarkable. I strongly recommend Kristina and the ART team for an unforgettable adventure in the Royal Gorge!
We participated in the Cotopaxi tour, which was a fantastic experience. If you enjoy water coasters, this is incredibly fun. The guides from ART, Cat and Christina, are exceptionally trained and clearly passionate about their work. We did the Brown's Canyon tour followed by the Royal Gorge. The provided tent and sleeping bag by the river were surprisingly comfy, and falling asleep to the sounds of the Arkansas River was delightful. Cat and Christina ensure safety; just heed their advice as they know the river thoroughly. We might request them for our next trip if they are available. Anyone who enjoys water and nature should definitely add this adventure to their bucket list. The price is reasonable too, about $1195 for two days of rafting and camping, which includes several meals and a fantastic photo package. Thank you, Cat and Christina!
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The organization and professionalism were impressive. Our raft guide, Ron John, was excellent—friendly and highly skilled.
The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, particularly the standout Kyle. They conducted an excellent tour, and we intend to return in the near future.
Kyle and Jesus made our adventure truly memorable. As the adult chaperone for a group of nine teenagers, I felt secure under their guidance while we enjoyed an exciting time on the rapids. I would gladly book these two guides again.
The rafting experience was fantastic, and our guide was excellent. However, the preparations and logistics were quite chaotic. We booked the tour months in advance, yet received a last-minute email a week prior suggesting we might need to reschedule due to low attendance. They promised a call the day before for confirmation, but when I hadn't heard anything by 4 PM, I called them myself and learned we had to switch to an earlier time. It’s unclear when they intended to inform us otherwise. Upon arrival for the earlier session, the check-in was disorganized, with participants confused about their tours and guides. During the crucial safety briefing, two employees nearby were loudly discussing their evening plans, making it hard to hear vital information. On the bus, their chatter about a party and alcohol was quite distracting. Thankfully, once on the water, the tour was enjoyable, but the staff's organization left much to be desired. In the future, I would opt for a different rafting company. Additionally, the photo packages were shockingly expensive at $60, a price that seemed excessive.
Eron was a fantastic guide for our group. Everyone, both kids and adults, had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a few hours of outdoor adventure.
