Our whitewater rafting adventure with Performance Tours was outstanding! We went in mid-August when the water temperature was perfect. James, our guide, was skilled, friendly, and informative. We created wonderful memories and enjoyed breathtaking views, even spotting some Big Horn Sheep. The bus ride to the launch point was smooth, and the initial two miles of calm water allowed us to get familiar with the paddle commands. I highly recommend this experience.

Our experience with Performance Tours Whitewater Rafting was fantastic. We went on the half-day Royal Gorge rafting trip in late August and had a wonderful time. Despite the lower water levels compared to spring, the rapids were thrilling and the scenery was stunning. Our guide, Mike, was engaging, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. He skillfully helped us when we got stuck on a rock. There were only two of us in the boat with him, which made it feel special. They prioritize safety, evident from the thorough safety briefing and the way they ensured our helmets and life jackets fit correctly. It was concerning to see another company with guides not wearing helmets, which reinforced our choice to go with Performance Tours. The Royal Gorge trip offered breathtaking views of the canyon walls, and we will definitely book with them again when we visit Colorado. Highly recommend this tour.

Performance is undoubtedly the top rafting company. They focus on every detail, from wetsuits and shoes to providing water for our bottles. Upon our arrival, the team warmly checked us in and ensured we were well-prepared for the adventure. Their enthusiasm for rafting was evident. After a shuttle to the launch site, our guide Bundy took excellent care of us. We felt fortunate to have him as our guide; his intimate knowledge of the river and humor made the experience enjoyable. Other raft guides commented on Bundy's skills, which gave us added confidence. When we reached the class 4 rapids, his expertise guided us safely through without a hitch. The price of the trip was much more reasonable than other companies, yet the quality remained high. After viewing the gorge from both the bridge and the water, it’s clear that rafting offers the best perspective. We spotted birds, big horn sheep, and even a snake! My partner and I look forward to more trips with Performance Rafting, and we highly recommend them.
