I spent five days in Canon City and went rafting with ART for three of those days. Our last day was at Big Horn with Emma, and it exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend ART for any rafting experience and suggest doing several excursions, as each section of the river offers distinct scenery and charm. We even spotted some big horns! We opted for the half-day Big Horn Sheep rafting experience with Kyle as our guide, and it turned out to be the most memorable part of our trip. I strongly recommend this company for whitewater rafting; the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and the equipment was excellent. Our group ranged in age from 9 to 72, and it was undoubtedly the favorite activity for everyone involved. Thank you to Kyle and ART for an amazing adventure!
Booking for our Labor Day kayaking trip with Gabby was seamless. Check-in was straightforward, and the team was friendly and energetic on the final day of the season. Our guide, Megan, was fantastic. The scenery was beautiful, and we had a great time with the paddling and instruction. We even got some great photos at the end. We'll definitely return for our next paddle on the Arkansas River.

We really enjoyed ourselves. At first, I was uncertain about the difficulty of the rafting, but our group had five members of various ages, making it very manageable and suitable for families. Our 13 and 16-year-olds had a great time.

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with Arkansas River Tours. Our guide, E Man, was both entertaining and knowledgeable, making our young teenage son feel secure while he taught us how to paddle. A memorable moment for him was jumping off a rock into the river. Swimming was an added bonus for everyone. The tour started on time, putting us well ahead of other groups on the river. The only minor downside was the price of the photos; at around $20 we would have purchased one, but $35 felt too steep. Overall, it was an excellent day, and we plan to use Arkansas River Tours for our future adventures. Thank you!
Today on the river was fantastic. I can only say that the experience was incredible. I had never done anything like this before and wasn't sure what to expect, but our guide Emma was exceptional. Her knowledge and enthusiasm were impressive, and she was very supportive of our varied skill levels. I highly recommend her and the company she represents. I would certainly do this again.
