Our experience with Raft Masters was outstanding from beginning to end. The friendly team of Calley, Mackenna, and Emily welcomed us at the check-in desk, brightening our day. Once outside, the guides helped us with vests and shoes, maintaining their warm and upbeat demeanor. During the brief bus ride, we received essential instructions for our rafting adventure. The Bighorn trip was fantastic, thanks to our expert river guide Lydia, who navigated the rapids skillfully. On our journey, we spotted bighorn sheep on the riverbank. Our three young grandsons had just as much fun as the four adults. Raft Masters included a complimentary photo per person, but we opted for the entire package because they were all excellent. After the excursion, we enjoyed a free lunch, efficiently managed by Sydney, Grace, and Lexi, who were also very friendly. For an unforgettable trip, choose Raft Masters.
I had high hopes for this adventure, and it turned out to be even better than I imagined. The stunning scenery and exciting rapids were fantastic, but it was the staff, particularly our guide James, who truly made the experience unforgettable. He knew how to ensure everyone had a great time. My 12-year-old daughter, initially anxious, ended up wanting to switch seats to go in front midway through. Now my whole family is eager to do it again. Additionally, I was expecting a very basic free lunch, but the burgers were surprisingly good. This is just another example of how Raftmasters exceeded my expectations for the entire journey.
This location is perfect for first-time rafters, offering everything you need. The staff is organized, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a safe experience while capturing great photos.
Justin, our guide, greatly enhanced the experience, making the trip enjoyable. We would gladly go rafting with Raft Masters again. The hamburgers and hotdogs grilled for lunch, provided by River Masters, were also excellent.

Our first experience was fantastic. Siggy was wonderful, allowing the kids in our raft to get in the water and hold onto it. We bumped into a few rocks, and my husband nearly fell out. It was a great time, and we’re considering doing it again next year.
The tour was exceptional, thanks to our guide Macey, who ensured we felt safe, comfortable, and entertained throughout the journey. The rafting experience was fantastic, and Macey enhanced it further. This trip comes highly recommended for all age groups.
Siggy, our guide with over a decade of experience, provided an incredible full-day rafting adventure on the Royal Gorge package. We had a blast; his expertise about the river and rapids was evident as he skillfully navigated through level 4 rapids while other rafts struggled. He even rescued three individuals from another rafting company who fell out and brought them back to safety. This was the best-reviewed and most affordable option for rafting near Canon City, CO. We're looking forward to returning early next season and will definitely book with this company again.
Macey was an amazing guide for our family on the medium-level river trip with four kids. She expertly instructed us on when and how to paddle, ensuring we were all engaged and supporting us throughout. One of our children was reluctant at first, but by the end, he rated the experience a perfect 10/10! This was undoubtedly due to Macey's confidence, knowledge, and her friendly interaction with the kids. Raft Masters may be a small company, but their guides are incredibly well-trained and certified. If you're taking kids, definitely request Macey; she's fantastic! Note: there is no lunch or photos available after Labor Day.
