This was a fantastic option to experience all three lakes. There was no waiting, and we parked conveniently near each one. It was hassle-free without the worry of finding parking in busy areas. An hour at each lake provided plenty of time.
The tour itself was decent and went to the listed destinations as promised. However, we encountered issues with the pickup. We had booked for 7:30 AM in Banff, but two days prior, we learned that the tour was at 9:00 AM instead, as the earlier time was only for Calgary pickups, which wasn't clearly stated during booking. This last-minute change affected our day's plans, but we chose to go ahead. We got to the Banff pickup location by 8:45 AM but were only collected at 9:30 AM, which was half an hour later than the revised time given to us. During our wait, we spent about 30 minutes trying to contact the tour organizer, worried we might have been overlooked. We also reached out to customer support, who attempted to connect with the operator multiple times. Unfortunately, we received no response to our messages. The bus arrived just as we were about to leave, which unfortunately set a negative tone for our experience. Additionally, the sprinter van was quite cramped, making the ride less comfortable than anticipated. On the positive side, the tour offers a convenient way to see popular sites without the hassle of navigating or parking. The driver was friendly and professional, and I don’t think the delay was his fault; he was likely just following the instructions to pick us up at 9:30 AM.
I recently participated in the Shared Tour: Emerald Lake, Lake Louise & Moraine Lake from Calgary with ABestX, and it was an excellent experience. Everything was well-organized from beginning to end. The vehicle was comfortable and spacious, making the ride enjoyable. Our guide was very knowledgeable, providing interesting insights about each stop and responding to all our questions enthusiastically. Time management was perfect—we had plenty of time at each location without feeling rushed. They also provided drinking water, which was a nice addition. We enjoyed scenic stops in Banff city and at the beautiful Natural Bridge, ideal for taking memorable photos. The breathtaking views of Emerald Lake, Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake are indescribable, and this tour made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to explore the Canadian Rockies comfortably and easily.
