We enjoyed a sunset sail aboard the Schooner Independence. Booking was straightforward, and we received directions and a meeting time. However, there was some confusion at the dock due to construction. Captain Diana attempted to reach us about the location and timing changes, but communication was tricky since my phone was dying. Luckily, she found us. The crew—Ricky, Diana, and Karl—were friendly and shared great stories about the keys. With just about 15 guests, the sail felt more personal. They provided drinks, snacks, and sandwiches, and I appreciated the absence of loud music, making for a more serene sunset viewing. I highly recommend the Schooner Independence for a sunset sail in Key West.
