The experience was overpriced for the limited offerings. There were not enough rides or Legos to engage with, leaving both my child and me disappointed. Avoid purchasing the LEGO mini build because you will receive the same model for every ticket, and the digital photos consist of just two images. I recommend steering clear of this.
The pricing felt misleading both on the website and in person, and it was considerably expensive. We ended up paying over $100 for two adults and a child, and there were additional costs once we were inside. Very disappointing experience.
I purchased tickets online but never received the receipt. The FAQs suggested contacting customer support but didn't provide a phone number. I ended up spending a significant amount of money for tickets I can't access and have no means to get assistance. I emailed for help and received an automated response stating they don't check emails daily, with a reply time of up to 48 hours. This is completely unhelpful since my tickets are for the next day. Overall, it was a terrible experience as we were unable to enter.
One of my children's favorite rides, the wizard bike, has been taken out of the Lego center, and he was very disappointed. We won't be returning until they bring it back.
The experience was definitely enjoyable for kids. However, it's not fair to charge parents or grandparents the same price for just sitting there. More seating is needed for those watching the children have fun.
We brought our granddaughter and were initially impressed by the bright, colorful environment, but our experience quickly soured as we navigated the facility. We started with a 4D movie scheduled for noon and lined up, but no one opened the doors by five minutes past. When I sought out a staff member, I found one playing with Legos. He replied he’d check on the movie, eventually opening the door and handing out glasses, though one of ours was faulty, looking blurry either way. Next, we tried the laser activity, but it wouldn't reset and insisted a session was ongoing. The reaction time test only functioned reliably until the fifth try. When we decided to take a snack break, my granddaughter picked up milk that expired three weeks earlier. We did enjoy the VR event, but during the cart rides, we had to ask for directions, and one of the guns didn’t work, while another was tangled up. The build workshop had a sign inviting questions, but there was no staff present to assist. My granddaughter enjoyed the jungle gym, but when we visited the gift shop to make a Lego figure, the staff member provided minimal guidance, forcing me to ask for help multiple times. While the staff were polite, they were not proactive in offering assistance, making it overwhelming for first-time visitors to find their way around. It would greatly benefit from having more staff available to guide guests. We observed three staff members standing idly, not engaging with visitors. The three hours of free parking in the garage was a nice touch. However, considering the price, we left feeling quite disappointed and are unlikely to return.
I took my 10-year-old niece and her friend to this location. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive after reading reviews suggesting it was more suited for younger kids, but it turned out fine. We spent the entire day there, from 10 am to 3 pm. Since my niece and I have enjoyed building Legos together, I believe true Lego enthusiasts will have a good time here. However, for those who aren't particularly fond of Legos, it could seem more childlike. We participated in all the activities, and my niece was genuinely engaged; I also appreciated the chance to attend the workshop and speak with the master builder afterward. The combination of building with technology is intriguing, though it could be better executed. Regarding the food court, it was decent, but I would have liked to see options like fries alongside the meals. There were many interesting activities, but some of the scanning features didn't operate correctly, such as the rocket ships appearing as blocks instead. It would have been beneficial to have maps available or at least a central board at the entrance outlining the layout and current events. When we entered, we saw signs indicating workshop times and movie showings but lacked direction on where those were held, which caused us to miss the initial films since we only discovered the theater area later on. I understand the need to keep costs down, but having staff available in specific areas, like during the race car theme event, would have been helpful for answering questions and guiding guests or supervising lines for kids on the racetracks. I noticed signs mentioning picking a card to start enjoying activities, but I never encountered any cards and felt lost about where to go. A map or guiding staff would have enhanced the experience. The activity booklet was also unclear in its purpose, so an overview of its use would have been helpful. While the various building stations for Legos were enjoyable, it can be tough for kids to create something and then be expected to leave it behind. It might be nice to have options, such as purchasing a race car kit for kids to build on-site and then take home. More tables for collaborative building between kids and parents, rather than just floor space, would improve the experience. Ultimately, if you have a Lego fan aged 5 to 12, they will likely enjoy this outing. I believe approaching the visit with modest expectations contributed to my overall positive experience.
This was my daughter's first visit, while I had been before. It's an incredible experience for a child learning about construction and storytelling. She really enjoyed the ride, the structure course, and the 3D or 4D movie. We didn't order food, but we took a break in the clean café area.
We celebrated my daughter's second birthday, and she had an amazing time. We enjoyed all the activities and captured wonderful photos. The cinema experience was also enjoyable.
I visited the Lego Discovery Center with my 14-month-old using the admission and photo package for about $34. I expected more than just two photo spots—one at the entrance and another during the dark ride—so I was a bit disappointed. The small children's area with larger play blocks was great, and my child really enjoyed it. We started off by creating a mini figure and downloading some fun photos from various machines around the exhibit. However, I was let down to find that we couldn't keep our mini figure at the final machine, especially since we got the photos but not the figure itself. The food options were reasonably priced, with hotdogs and personal pizzas costing between $4 and $8, but there were hardly any healthy choices like fruit. I might consider returning when he’s older, perhaps closer to age 3.
