My husband, our 12-year-old niece, and I enjoyed this tour, even as locals just seeking some fun. Our guide Courtney was engaging and brought her own unique touch to the experience. Overall, it was an excellent way to explore the smaller businesses in the ever-evolving Harvard Square. However, I wished for more information on chocolate production and its history, as the focus was primarily on visiting places and sampling food. The standout was definitely Salt and Olive, where we learned about balsamics and salt. Trying chocolate balsamic and chocolate salt was a highlight, and the shop owner provided in-depth insight.
The tour was enjoyable and packed with fascinating insights about chocolate and Harvard Square. Meeting up with our guide Courtney was straightforward, thanks to clear directions. With around ten people in the group, all of whom were chocolate enthusiasts to some extent, the experience felt intimate. The cocoa bean and cocoa juice samples were intriguing, and the treats from various local shops were delightful.
We had a great time with a fun group we met on-site and a very kind and friendly guide. The ice cream was tasty, and the kids enjoyed the little quizzes about the area.
The chocolate tour in Harvard Square was both delightful and enjoyable. Our guide, Sara, was engaging and provided captivating historical insights about the area and chocolate itself. The treats at each stop were scrumptious. It was a fantastic way to spend an evening while supporting a small business, appealing to both locals and visitors.
Lemon was a wonderful guide, providing us with a wealth of knowledge about the city, its landmarks, history, and various eateries - it was exceptional! Every food stop offered tasty dishes with no wait times and generous portions. This was a fantastic way to explore Cambridge.
The chocolate tasting was enjoyable, but I would have liked more focus on my daughter's food allergies.
I enjoyed all the food, and our guide was amiable, though he seemed a bit flustered when one group was late. Just keep in mind that the tour offers a very surface-level overview of Harvard.
It was a wonderful opportunity to discover the history of chocolate and its connection to Cambridge’s past. We visited distinct locations that highlighted local businesses, making it a pleasure to support them. The experience was fairly priced for everything included.
Roberta was excellent—very personable and knowledgeable. She maintained great energy throughout the entire tour. I would highly recommend her and this experience to anyone who loves chocolate.
I booked this chocolate tour for my daughter on our final day together before my return home, and it was the ideal conclusion to a fantastic trip. Our guide, Chloe, was not only friendly and kind but also very knowledgeable, and we really appreciated her. We discovered interesting facts about chocolate's history and enjoyed well-curated samples at each stop. The tour also provided a fascinating history of the stories and landmarks in Harvard Square. It was both enjoyable and delicious.
