ITT efficiently organized our trip and ensured we returned to the cruise port on time, providing peace of mind. While the booking process was somewhat unclear, it seems the main service is transport and reservations for the park activities, which are all similar. The zip lines were enjoyable, rated 4/5, though there are only five instead of eight. The waterfalls also scored 4/5, but we found the dune buggies disappointing at 2/5, mainly due to the dusty conditions. Thankfully, ITT got us there early to avoid crowds, enhancing the overall experience. We highly recommend the zip lines and waterfalls, but we would skip the buggies next time, based on our experience.
The itinerary was excellent for Puerto Plata. Although our time was limited due to a change in the cruise ship schedule, everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fit in all the activities. We unexpectedly enjoyed a private tour, which meant we could bypass lines and avoid waiting for others.
We arranged all our airport transfers, taxis, and activities, including the waterfalls and ATV tour, with Ishmael Tours, and they exceeded our expectations. The drivers served as exceptional ambassadors for Cabarete. Eddy and Christian provided us with seamless, professional service, always welcoming us with smiles and laughter. They even shared some Spanish with us, adding to the fun. Parting with them was bittersweet, but it feels more like a "see you later" than a farewell.
This experience was incredibly enjoyable! Our adventure included fellow cruise passengers, but we switched to a private tour for the ATVs. The food was outstanding, and everyone was fantastic. I highly recommend it!

The private transfer was excellent, with our driver waiting for us right as we disembarked. However, the walk from the ship was longer than I anticipated, so be ready for that. The map provided was initially confusing, but turned out to be accurate. The zip line and waterfall were fantastic, but the hike to the zip line was indeed a challenging 30-minute uphill trek, though it was worth it. Lunch afterward was seamless. The dune buggy experience was what dragged my rating down to 4 stars. Our buggy broke down during the ride, and it was obvious our guide was concerned about it. We ended up waiting around 20 minutes for a replacement vehicle while the cameraman pressured us to purchase photos and videos for $65, which made our beach time feel rushed. An unexpected stop at a local shop allowed us to taste Mamajuana, the local alcohol, which comes in rum and wine versions. Unfortunately, we felt pressured to buy something despite not having money, as we were not informed of this stop beforehand. I also wish they had provided goggles or suggested we bring our own for the dune buggy ride; we were told to take them off for ziplining but not told to put them back on for the buggies, resulting in dirt and dirty water getting in our eyes. There are dune buggies at the same zipline and waterfall location, and I wonder why this tour doesn’t utilize those instead. A tour that included that plus a separate stop for Mamajuana tasting and souvenir shopping would have been preferable.
We experienced the triple adventure and it was incredibly fun, creating a day filled with wonderful memories. Our transportation was smooth, and the staff at the zip lining and waterfall park were very friendly. We enjoyed an excellent lunch there before heading to the buggies, which were also a highlight. I suggest wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting wet and muddy. Overall, an excellent experience.
