Two to three hours on a boat — guaranteed whale sightings in the resting area of Geographe Bay, available from late August to late October.
This whale-watching tour takes place in the calm waters of Geographe Bay, where whales rest annually during their migration from late August to late October. Expect to be out on the water for two to three hours, keeping an eye out for these magnificent creatures as they pass through the bay.
The tours operate in small groups for a more personal experience, ensuring everyone gets a good view of the whales. The confidence in whale sightings is notable, as operators offer a complimentary trip if no whales are spotted during your outing. This is a wonderful way to appreciate the annual migration and witness the marine life of this beautiful part of Western Australia.
Reviews
It was our first whale watching experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour was well-organized and informative, with friendly and attentive staff. We witnessed two mother humpbacks with their calves, though I was a bit disappointed that the blue whales didn't appear. It was wonderful to observe the mother-calf pairs interacting. I appreciated the ample space on the boat for a better view, and the captain and crew were eager to engage in conversation and answer our questions. The only drawback was the engine smell in the cabin, which caused a headache for my husband and me, especially since it was a bit chilly outside for our little one. I'm not sure if there's much that can be done about that. Thank you for a lovely experience; I plan to return earlier in the season next year, hoping to catch a glimpse of a blue whale.
Captain Paul and his crew were fantastic, and the number of whales we spotted was incredible. It was the best day out and worth every penny. Thank you.
We really enjoyed ourselves! This experience went beyond our highest hopes. We saw numerous whales, including many breaching.
The whales provided a remarkable sight. I extend my gratitude to the Captain and crew for making this experience truly unforgettable.
Jess brought so much energy to our experience, making it incredibly exciting. We spotted over 15 whales, which was amazing. The whole family, including my parents, was thrilled.
We enjoyed a fantastic day searching for whales! Fortunately, we spotted several, thanks to Jess's expert guidance. A big thanks to Paul and his enthusiastic and supportive team!
The service was amazing. We saw plenty of whales, and the crew was so enthusiastic that they prolonged the tour a bit to make sure we witnessed some whales breaching. I really enjoyed it!
It was a fantastic experience! We spotted numerous whales, and the entire crew was truly exceptional. Thank you very much!
All Sea Charters is the perfect choice for whale watching. The knowledgeable captain and dedicated crew, including a marine scientist who addressed all our inquiries, made the experience exceptional. We were thrilled to be joined by three whales for nearly an hour and then encountered more as we continued north. Throughout the trip, we felt secure, which is essential. I enthusiastically recommend All Sea Charters.
We had an incredible afternoon with Jess and Alex, surrounded by whales, dolphins, and sea lions. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Everyone enjoyed it immensely.
