What an incredible adventure! Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed interacting with various nocturnal animals, discovering native plants, and admiring the stunning night sky. Mic and Ryan, our guides, were engaging, knowledgeable, and truly passionate. The tour wraps up with a 30-minute walk through the bush. The path is flat and not too challenging, but younger kids might get tired. Keep this in mind when planning—consider bringing a backpack carrier for toddlers and allowing for some afternoon rest for those little ones who aren’t fans of long walks. We would happily book this tour repeatedly! Thank you, Mic and Ryan!
We had an incredible evening with Ryan on the nocturnal wildlife tour. He picked us up from our place and took us to Yelverton Brook Conservation Park. After a short walk to a forest clearing, where Ryan shared insights about the trees and bushes, the real excitement began. While we can’t guarantee which animals you’ll see, we were thrilled to encounter Bandicoots and about a dozen Kangaroos—it was simply amazing. We ventured further into the forest to explore different vegetation and search for various spiders. Ryan also pointed out numerous star constellations during our walk. It was a truly unforgettable night for both my wife and me.
I had a wonderful time on the tour with our amazing guide, Ryan. There was so much to observe, from animals to plants to stars. The best part was getting close to the kangaroos. I highly recommend it!
I highly recommend this experience. The nocturnal animal tour exceeded expectations, as another family noted, and we completely agreed. We saw kangaroos, bandicoots, and possums up close. Plus, we enjoyed an unexpected stargazing session. Mick and Ryan were fun and knowledgeable, answering all the kids' questions and offering hot chocolate and cookies. It's a must-do.
The experience was truly fantastic. Ryan and Mik's enthusiasm and passion were infectious, positively impacting the five other participants. This is an unforgettable night-time adventure.
This tour is exceptional, showcasing a beautiful location. Our guide Mick demonstrated immense knowledge and enthusiasm for the local plants and animals. Getting close to wildlife in their natural habitat is incredible. I enjoyed it so much that I've participated twice!
The experience was truly exceptional. Our guide Mick displayed remarkable knowledge and a deep passion for nature and wildlife. I highly suggest this tour for anyone interested in Australian wildlife and the environment.
I had an incredible time with my two daughters during this experience. Ryan is very knowledgeable, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Feeding the kangaroos and getting a respectful look at a few possums was delightful. We also spotted many frogs, spiders, and quendas, and listened to fascinating stories about the kangaroos. I highly recommend it. My daughter wishes she could give it a million stars.
Ryan picked us up from our lodging and took us to the tour location. It was an incredible experience. We got to see and feed kangaroos, quendas, and possums. They served us bush tea, and the return trip was also part of the package. It was a lot of fun. I suggest dressing appropriately for the weather and bushwalking.
We joined Mick for a private tour and he was very engaging and well-informed. He highlighted several fascinating plants, including those used by indigenous people for food and medicine. We got to interact with sweet kangaroos and observed possums and bandicoots. Mick also shared insights about constellations and other surprises along the way. His extensive knowledge of the region and his great tea made this my favorite tour of the trip, which included many other fantastic experiences.
