The afternoon tour from Busselton offered a delightful experience exploring the sights of Dunsborough and Geographe Bay with a small group of three. We visited two wineries where the tastings were expertly conducted by knowledgeable hosts, and the educational stop at the soap factory was a nice addition. The tour was truly a fantastic way to explore the highlights of Margaret River in just half a day, even on a scorching day. The van was comfortable and well-cooled. Our guide, Mick, with his background in environmental science, shared insightful local knowledge and personal stories that added depth to the experience. His enthusiasm for the area was evident throughout. We started with breathtaking views of the coastline, driving from Caves Road to Sugarloaf Rock, where Mick provided refreshments while we admired the stunning scenery. Next, we visited a small boutique winery, Cape Naturaliste Vineyard, for a personal wine tasting and lesson, followed by Wills Domain, a renowned vineyard. Despite its size, the atmosphere felt intimate thanks to our knowledgeable host. Overall, it was a lovely tour enjoyed by my husband and our two adult children.
