What's the itinerary?+
• Guests will be collected from Bundi and then proceed to Chand Baori. • Upon arrival at Chand Baori, which was constructed over a thousand years ago in the village of Abhaneri in Rajasthan, guests will observe this deep four-sided well featuring a large temple in the background. The stepwell comprises 3,500 narrow steps across 13 stories and descends approximately 30 meters (100 feet) into the earth, making it one of the deepest and largest step-wells in India. • Next, guests will head to Fatehpur Sikri. The architectural style of Fatehpur Sikri is inspired by Timurid forms and styles, primarily built from massive red sandstone. The structures exhibit a blend of Hindu and Muslim domestic architectural styles that were prevalent in India during that era. The well-preserved original areas enable modern archaeologists to reconstruct scenes from Mughal court life and provide insights into the social hierarchy of the city’s royal and noble inhabitants. Access is available through several gates along the 8-kilometer-long fort wall, including Delhi Gate, Lal Gate, Agra Gate, Birbal's Gate, Chandanpal Gate, Gwalior Gate, Mehra Gate, Chor Gate, and Ajmeri Gate. The complex includes both a summer and a winter palace for Queen Jodha. • At the conclusion of the day’s activities, guests will be returned to their location in Agra.
