My wife Holly and I enjoyed an excellent half-day trip through Browns Canyon, guided by Jason from Colorado Rafting Adventures in Buena Vista, Colorado. We were lucky to be in his boat, as he led all the teams that day. Jason prioritized safety, ensuring each group received proper training and worked well together before starting our journey. The river experience was fantastic, beginning with easier sections that helped us build confidence in our skills, then progressing to faster and more challenging white water. Jason provided clear instructions as we approached each rapid, preparing us for what to expect. We are looking forward to another adventure down the river with Jason and the Colorado Rafting Adventures team.

Brett proved to be an excellent guide. He instilled confidence in the younger kids and reacted swiftly when someone fell out of the raft, pulling them back in with remarkable speed.

Chuck from Colorado Rafting Adventures was both skilled and personable, making our half-day trip an enjoyable experience for the whole family. We truly had a great time. However, we encountered some challenges getting to our scheduled time, despite receiving several emails from Viator. Many emails were not very clear or helpful and seemed more focused on promoting Viator. It would be more beneficial to receive less spam and have direct communication between Viator and the service provider. While I did manage to get CRA's contact number to call them directly for directions, it was not easy to find amidst the overwhelming information in the emails.
This was the highlight of our trip to Colorado. Our guide Sam was exceptional, sharing his extensive knowledge of the canyon. Along with his colleague Sophie, they ensured our safety and kept the experience fun. We would definitely book with this company again, as they truly prioritize their clients.
We had an excellent time with Garrett on our half-day adventure. The package included wetsuits and booties, which we found necessary. The drive to the rafting site was quick, as was the return to the store afterward. The water was high and quite chilly at 46 degrees. Garrett had a great sense of humor and provided clear instructions. Our group included two kids, aged 12 and 9, along with their parents. When two of us fell out and the situation became stressful, Garrett remained calm and quickly helped us get back into the raft. Overall, the trip was enjoyable and memorable. The boys are already excited about our next rafting outing.
Colorado Rafting Adventures is an excellent rafting service on the popular Arkansas River near Buena Vista, Colorado. Being a smaller company enhanced our experience as it made our bus ride and overall trip more enjoyable. Our introductory instructor, Evan, who has guided the river for around two years, was both entertaining and informative about potential river challenges. Our main guide, Brett, who has four years of experience on this river, provided fantastic insights about the area and kept our family of five engaged with his jokes. This was our family's second rafting trip, and I have been on three in total. Brett demonstrated superior knowledge of the river compared to other guides we observed. He ensured we enjoyed the bigger waves and drops while maintaining an effortless flow during calmer sections. Unlike other groups struggling with positioning, our boat glided smoothly. We had a wonderful adventure and highly recommend Colorado Rafting Adventures, particularly Brett if you have the chance to request him.
