We had a fantastic experience with our guide Will, who did an excellent job showcasing the river and ensuring the trip was both fun and exciting. If we return to Colorado, we will certainly do this again.
Jack was outstanding; he provided a wealth of knowledge and had a great sense of humor. He ensured safety and helped ease our nerves. The entire team was very friendly.
We had a short rafting adventure this summer with Dvorak's and I highly recommend them. The guides were true professionals, the booking process was seamless, and the office staff were exceptional. With water levels at a 10-year high, I was initially hesitant because of my 8-year-old's fears. However, Rey, our incredible guide, quickly engaged her by helping to select gear and inflate the rafts, which eased her anxiety. He was truly fantastic with her, and she still talks about him like he's a superhero. Rey also assisted my older daughter in seeking thrills by guiding her on the best seating and ensuring she experienced just the right amount of splashes. Jack, our other guide, was excellent as well. My in-laws had done Brown's Canyon earlier in the week and praised Dvorak's too. Make sure to give them a try!
This part of the river was ideal for families with young kids. Our guide, Jonathan, was quite knowledgeable and passionate. My children all agreed that rafting was the best part of our week-long visit to Colorado. We would certainly do it again. We had a fantastic time.
I arranged for an easy rafting experience since my guests from the Midwest were a bit apprehensive. Bill guided us perfectly, and it was just what we needed. The entire team was wonderful, and we had a fantastic time. I'm now eager to return for a more thrilling adventure!
Our guide Jason was incredibly informative and truly impressive. If we return, we will definitely request him again. He acted very professionally; although we experienced a fall, it was no one's fault and was a bit scary, but we felt safe. I love rafting and plan to come back. There was an issue with being overcharged, and I'll be reaching out to resolve that, but overall, it didn’t diminish the experience.
Fifteen years ago, I took a family rafting trip with Dvorak, and it was fantastic. We just returned from another family vacation that included our grandkids, and this time was even better. One of our guides was Bill Dvorak himself, whose passion for the river and nature made the experience unforgettable. It was wonderful to hear his stories, and he connected well with our 6 and 7-year-old grandkids. Grace, who guided the other boat, clearly learns from the best. I won't wait another 15 years to return. Thank you!
We had a fantastic experience on this trip as first-time rafters. Our 15-year-old was initially reluctant, but this tour ended up being the one he agreed to. Matt was an outstanding guide, sharing valuable insights about river dynamics and patiently answering all the questions from our curious 11-year-old. The only downside came when we attempted to "surf the hole," which made us feel like we were on the verge of flipping, though Matt reassured us that we were safe. We did struggle a bit to get free, with only Matt and my husband providing the strength needed. Overall, we would definitely participate again and highly recommend Devorak.
The guides were attentive to our varying experience levels, ensuring it was an enjoyable and rewarding outing. Our guide, JB, shared fascinating insights about the river's history and environment, along with entertaining jokes to keep us engaged. We appreciated that this was an independent operator and would highly recommend this company to everyone.
