Monia was an excellent tour guide, providing us with plenty of information as we explored many amazing sights in Harlem.
Learning about Harlem's fascinating history, encompassing its historical, cultural, and architectural aspects, was a truly enjoyable experience. John was an excellent tour guide throughout the visit.
Exploring Harlem and learning about significant historical events in the U.S. was a fantastic experience. My guide was highly knowledgeable and insightful. I gained a lot of information about the subway system and New York. While I wished for more emphasis on Black American history, my guide was able to provide information when I inquired about it.
Monia was our guide for the tour. If you prefer a neutral, white viewpoint of Harlem, she fits that description. While she articulates the architectural and historical aspects well, she lacks insight into the perspectives of the black and brown communities. Additionally, some of the information she provided was incorrect. This tour left us feeling quite disappointed.
Monia Bonaldo served as an exceptional tour guide, showcasing her extensive knowledge of Harlem's history and culture. She was charming, engaging, and made the experience truly enjoyable.
The guide had limited knowledge about the everyday experiences of African Americans in Harlem, mainly concentrating on architecture and churches instead.
Staying in a tourist area was great, but it was refreshing to escape and experience the true beauty of NYC. Riding the train for the first time was exciting. I particularly enjoyed visiting Julliard and learning about the histories of Harlem and East Harlem.
We had a fantastic tour with Monia, an excellent guide. She was very friendly and provided a wealth of information about the history and locations we visited. We discovered new areas and gained insight into their historical and architectural significance. The tour concluded at a wonderful Italian café known for the best espressos in NYC. I highly recommend it.
Adam, our guide, was friendly and provided a wealth of information. My children had a great time exploring Harlem by subway.
Monia was outstanding and had a wealth of fascinating knowledge. She successfully gave us an authentic local experience of Harlem. We will surely recommend her in the future.
