Michael made my experience in New York fantastic during our several hours together on a great e-bike. I reserved an e-bike for Central Park today, and I found the bike quality and their service so impressive that I wanted to spend even more time with them.
We had a wonderful time on this tour. Carla, our guide, was knowledgeable, supportive, and personable. The route was mostly flat, making it easy to cycle. The electric bike was excellent, though a regular bike would work just fine. It would have been nice to have a coffee break, but I understand that would lengthen the tour.
This bike tour was a total blast. I genuinely believe it’s the best experience in New York. Riding sturdy Gazelle bikes through Times Square was simply fantastic.

I highly recommend this experience. Our group utilized both regular bikes and e-bikes, all in excellent condition. Our tour guide, Carla, was incredible—extremely knowledgeable and pointed out great photo spots. Lasting 2.5 hours, we visited many important sites in downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn much faster than walking would allow. This was the best part of my trip to New York.
Michael proved to be an excellent tour guide, being friendly and accommodating. I unexpectedly found myself on the Dutch tour instead of the English one, as all the English options were fully booked, but the friendly Dutch group was enjoyable. However, some of the bikes were not in optimal condition—one had a flat tire caused by glass, which wasn't the shop's fault, and another needed to be replaced due to issues, which slowed us down as we waited for new bikes. Apart from that, everything went well.
This was a fantastic tour. Michael, our guide, was both friendly and knowledgeable. The equipment was excellent, and the route was great. I'd definitely do this tour again and highly recommend it, particularly for families.
We opted for the Manhattan-Brooklyn tour, which allowed us to explore these areas in just 2.5 hours. We saw both the well-known attractions and hidden gems known only to locals. Our guide, Herman, spoke only Dutch since we were the only Dutch participants, which made for plenty of laughs. The bikes were in excellent shape, and there’s an option to upgrade to an electric bike for an additional fee. I highly recommend this experience.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. We visited numerous spots while biking, and I loved riding across the bridges and pausing at different locations to learn about their history. The bikes were extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this activity.
A cozy and enjoyable bike ride with Michael. Our small group was able to see many of New York’s highlights, and he was knowledgeable about each one. Michael's enthusiasm made for a lovely morning. When we return to New York, we will surely book another ride with Holland Bikes.
