Five-hour guided tour starting at Dumbo, covering Brooklyn Bridge, Lower Manhattan, and a scenic ferry ride to Staten Island for views of the Statue of Liberty.
This five-hour guided tour begins at York Street Metro Station in Brooklyn's Dumbo neighbourhood, known for its excellent photo ops of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. After a brief introduction, you’ll enjoy a tour of Brooklyn, including Brooklyn Bridge Park and the historic Brooklyn Heights promenade, before venturing to the iconic Brooklyn Bridge itself for striking views of the Manhattan skyline.
Next, the tour includes a visit to Lower Manhattan, with highlights such as Chinatown, Little Italy, the 9/11 Memorial, and Wall Street. The final segment takes you to Battery Park, where you can take the free 30-minute Staten Island ferry for unparalleled views of the Statue of Liberty. You can either explore Staten Island or choose to return directly to Battery Park — your guide will not accompany you on the ferry.

This tour left me extremely disappointed. I essentially paid over $50 for a guide who rushed me through the city in silence, which felt very awkward. We ended an hour early because he barely stopped to speak. Although he claimed to have been giving tours for two years, his lack of knowledge and enthusiasm was apparent. For instance, he incorrectly stated that the Brooklyn Bridge was built in 1890, while I knew it opened in 1883. It felt suspicious that he would misstate such a detail instead of using a more vague reference if unsure. When he did speak, his words were often jumbled and hard to understand, as if he hadn’t prepared at all. I feel I deserve a refund for this experience and suggest exploring the city independently instead.
I’m uncertain about the value of this tour. The guide mainly led us across the bridge and around the streets, providing little information. He also seemed unprepared for my wheelchair, despite the tour being advertised as accessible and my mentioning it in the booking. We could have easily done this by ourselves. I've asked for a partial refund.
The tour was enjoyable, but it's essential to monitor the weather prior to making a reservation. I attempted to change my booking but couldn't get in touch with anyone. It was quite rainy that day. The concept of the walking tour is appealing. The tour lasts for three hours, including a two-hour ferry ride to Staten Island, which is free, although it only passes by the Statue of Liberty without stopping. The guide was pleasant.
There was no communication whatsoever. The tour guide failed to show up, and no one responded, resulting in a complete waste of time. It was a disrespectful way to conduct business. I regret booking through this platform.
I tried reaching out to notify them about my delay but received no response. When I called, I was directed to email or message through Viator, which I had already done. Upon arriving at the meeting point, no one was there, and I encountered complete silence from the tour company, with no way to contact anyone directly by phone.
Get ready for some walking. The sites are incredible. Our guide, Andrew, provided an excellent tour from Brooklyn to Manhattan.
We found this walking tour to be an excellent introduction to New York City's history for first-time visitors. Angelo's insights at various key locations were engaging, and he had plenty of stories to tell whenever we were curious. It's a special experience, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring snacks and water.
We were delayed by 10 minutes because our taxi driver was unsure where to drop us off. Even though I texted ahead, they didn't wait for us or contact the operator, which was disappointing.
This experience was nothing short of a scam. We were told to reschedule for the next day, and when we arrived late, we learned we were the only ones on the tour since others had canceled, but the guide had already left. It was frustrating, especially since they had already changed our tour once when we traveled from NJ to Brooklyn. Be cautious when sharing your information; this is a scam.
I had a fantastic tour on a lovely day. Jake was an excellent tour guide. I gained a lot of historical knowledge and saw numerous sights. It was a wonderful day in New York.
