I recently completed my third tour with Funky Tours in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and I couldn’t be more pleased. The food was outstanding, and the whole experience was seamless. Communication was clear throughout. Gabbi, our guide, was a delight—knowledgeable and engaging without being overly loud, which can be a distraction with some guides. Each of the three tours felt personal and connected, allowing us to hear each other even in busy environments while we focused on the top sights and cuisine.
We had an incredible Sunday afternoon with Gabby, who guided us through the history of Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO. We indulged in the city’s best foods, from pizza to tacos, and discovered the most amazing falafel we’ve ever had. Gabby was approachable and kept the experience lively, especially as we enjoyed the sweet treats towards the end. I strongly recommend this tour for an authentic taste of NYC. Plus, being in Brooklyn offered stunning views of the NYC skyline and the Statue of Liberty. It’s an absolute must if you’re visiting.
Benoit, my guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and introduced me to some fantastic eateries that I likely wouldn't have found on my own. It's crucial to choose the right places when in a new city, and this food tour exceeded my expectations with amazing pizza, flavorful bagels (and I'm not usually a bagel fan), and scrumptious soup dumplings.
