Christian did an excellent job.
The staff at Liquid Descent is exceptional. Eddie, our guide, was fantastic during our upper Colorado half-day trip with the kids. Both the children and adults enjoyed themselves immensely, with Eddie adding to the experience. This rafting excursion felt like an adventure, full of spontaneity. We highly recommend Liquid Descent.
The journey through Gore Canyon is truly unforgettable. Tunnel Falls will stick with you long after the adventure ends. The guides from Liquid Descent are highly skilled and ensure you fully enjoy the thrilling rapids and stunning views of Gore Canyon. To top it off, they provided a generous fajita meal, drinks, and desserts at the end, showcasing outstanding hospitality. Liquid Descent offers exceptional service and unbeatable value in the rafting world.
This is likely the top one-day commercial rafting experience available, though it's not for those easily intimidated. The rapids are challenging, requiring one portage, and participants must complete two swim tests at the start of Gore Canyon: swimming under the boat and navigating a Class 2 rapid. Failure means a three-mile walk back to Kremmling. Brett, our guide, was very knowledgeable and expertly positioned the raft. I highly recommend Liquid Descent for the stunning beauty of Gore Canyon. Don't forget to appreciate the scenery while you're there.
This experience was among the best days I’ve ever had. As the final trip of the season, the guides ensured it was memorable. My girlfriend, who was new to rafting, ended up having the time of her life. The entire process was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. This site deserves to be recognized as a national landmark. You won’t regret scheduling a visit to the Kremlin location in Gore Canyon – it’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
The rafting experience was the best I've ever had. The guides were outstanding and the safety crew ensured we felt secure, which helped everything go smoothly. I plan to raft this river again with Liquid Descent.
This was the best whitewater experience we've ever had. Our guide, Bret, was exceptionally knowledgeable, skilled, and professional. The lunch at the end was fantastic. I highly recommend this trip; it's a must-do.
The operation is very professional with a friendly, easy-going, and well-trained team. The trip is intense, featuring several class V rapids. I highly recommend this outfit for an adventurous and scenic river rafting experience. Our guide Jordan is an outstanding professional who excels in the water and encourages everyone in his boat to do their best. It was a wonderful experience filled with fantastic memories.
My husband and I enjoy rafting, and this was probably my fifteenth commercial trip worldwide. Liquid Descent ranks as one of the top operations I’ve encountered. They are well-organized, friendly, and prioritize safety without sacrificing fun. I appreciated that wetsuits were included in the trip price instead of being an extra charge. The Gore Canyon trip is fantastic for a day out, especially if you're seeking an adrenaline rush at 1150+ cfs; we went at 1170. The scenery in the canyon is stunning, conveying a "forever wild" atmosphere, with chances to spot wildlife. The rapids are, of course, enjoyable. Our group consisted of 17 people, divided into four rafts of four to five guests each, along with a safety raft, a safety kayaker, and a photo kayaker. This additional support contributes to the overall cost of the trip, but it is well worth the investment. The swim test may seem more daunting than it is, and in truth, if someone struggles with it, it's for their own safety. Be prepared for a roughly three-mile paddle before you reach the canyon and its rapids. We took a Gatorade break on the riverbank around 12:45, which was 3 hours and 45 minutes after the start — there are no opportunities to disembark before that point. My only issue was that lunch is served at the take-out rather than when you're on the river, and since we had hot fajitas, it took quite a while to set up and cook, as nothing was pre-sliced or prepared. Honestly, I would have preferred to grab a granola bar during the shuttle ride back and handle lunch myself. Make sure to have a warm change of clothes ready on the bus, as you'll be sitting in a wet wetsuit for a while, and that area is known for its wind. I highly recommend this trip.
Gore Canyon is incredible, and Liquid Descents has fantastic guides who ensure a safe adventure. This experience is not for the faint-hearted; you'll have to complete a swim test and paddle hard for the best time. However, the thrilling whitewater is worth it! They also offer excellent photos and a video to capture your day.
