The show was enjoyable on a lovely evening in the Ozarks. It was well-produced, with varying levels of acting quality, but a solid story overall. We opted for front row seats in the second row, which brought us close to the stage. Having not seen this show in years, I really appreciated the experience. However, there was no one available outside to assist with the shuttle service, making it somewhat unclear where to queue. Additionally, the walk back to the car from the theater involved many stairs, which was a challenge if you chose to skip the shuttle. Nevertheless, the trip was worthwhile.
The performance was highly enjoyable, with the actors and animals excellently bringing the characters to life and making the story feel tangible. I look forward to returning soon.
We had an incredible time on the zip line. Our guides were well-informed and their expertise gave us great confidence and a sense of safety. Thank you, Daphne, and the other guide whose name I can’t recall.
The Wild West Show provided a wonderful experience packed with entertainment. With elements like a stagecoach, gunfire, The Pony Express history, poetry, trick riding, trick roping, and comedy, we were thoroughly entertained and laughing the whole time. My husband, I, and another couple participated in the show, making it ideal for couples, groups, and families.
It is advisable to read the Shepherd of the Hills novel prior to attending this outdoor drama, as it provides important historical context that enhances the understanding of the performance.
The performance was incredible, featuring a highly realistic setting and costumes. I appreciated the inclusion of animals, and the young boy portraying Pete did a remarkable job, especially considering it was his debut.
I enjoyed the story and the music that accompanied dinner, which was good. However, the meal itself was just average and didn't impress me. The initial segment of watching guys play horseshoes felt unnecessary and should be eliminated.
The story was fantastic, filled with action and drama. My family really enjoyed it, experiencing pure fun in an outdoor theater. It felt almost as if we were transported back to the time of the events.
This outdoor performance offers a fantastic journey back to the late 1800s, providing insight into life in the Ozarks after the Civil War. The themes of love and redemption remain timeless. If you're visiting Branson, be sure not to miss this remarkable show.
The show vividly brought the book's story to life. It was enjoyable to see the animals and an old steam engine as well.
