Exploring downtown Boulder was a fantastic experience for us. Kat's guidance allowed us to discover places we might have missed otherwise. There was a mixture of fun, culture, and tasty food and drinks throughout. The activity was guided just for our group, making it a Covid-friendly option.
Our group of five, ranging in age from 20s to 50s, had a fantastic time exploring Boulder. Even the two members who live there discovered new and hidden spots. We regret not taking a moment at the start to go over all the missions, as we lost some time initially. However, we found our groove and managed to cover a lot. We wish we had even more time, but we still plan to visit a couple more interesting places before leaving. This experience comes highly recommended, and we look forward to trying it in another city.
It was different from our expectations. We anticipated a standard scavenger hunt, but thoroughly enjoyed discovering each location and completing the tasks there. The activities were enjoyable, straightforward, and pushed us out of our comfort zones. We received some curious glances, but also created great memories along the way.

We organized a private scavenger hunt with Alley Kat Adventures in Boulder as a surprise for our grandson's 15th birthday, and it was truly special. Our facilitator, Morgan, kicked things off and was there at the end to reveal the winning team. With participants ranging from a baby in a stroller to teenagers, parents, and grandparents, everyone had a fantastic time. We enjoyed fun interactions with locals, discovered unique spots we would have missed otherwise, and even received complimentary drinks from a coffee shop for our entire group. We strongly recommend Alley Kat Adventures for all age groups and look forward to trying it in another city. It was a great idea to explore hidden gems in our hometown and seek out new experiences close to home.
The experience was somewhat awkward due to the requirement of using WhatsApp and Canva for the slides. My group lost interest after a few scavenger hunts and we didn’t finish. However, I still believe it's a unique way to explore the city and discover its hidden treasures.
The tour was scheduled to begin at 2:00 but didn’t start until 2:20. Aside from that delay, it was simple to follow the provided PDF slides. I wouldn't classify it strictly as a scavenger hunt; it felt more like reaching specific spots and taking creative photos and videos. It was enjoyable with a larger group (ours had four). Ensure the weather is nice since you'll be walking for several hours. We had perfect weather! Overall, it was an enjoyable midday activity and could serve as a fun way to explore new locations when traveling.
