To cap off the day, enjoy a sweet final stop at Makana Confections, a local favourite known for handcrafted chocolates, before returning to base.
02If you are looking for a guided experience of the Marlborough Wine region but also want to do a bit of exploring on your own then our half and half biking wine tour is the tour for you! Spend a morning on our half day guided biking wine tour. Your knowledgeable and experienced guide will talk to you about the history of the area, its wines and the stories of its people. You will visit three wineries in the morning and then you are free to go at it alone for the afternoon with your bike, a wine map and some helpful pointers from the guide on where to visit. Peddle along flat, easy terrain that is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. All morning winery tasting fees included (3). Complementary pickup and drop-off from Blenheim and Renwick accodmation. Up to 8 people per guided tour. E-bikes (electric bikes) are avalible as an upgrade option.

We offer 2 bike hire time slots - 10am-4pm or 11am-5pm & includes a free shuttle service if you are staying within 15km of our base in Renwick (check Google) . Free parking if you drive yourselves to our base. Our bikes are “all about cruising” & come with comfy seats, a basket, dedicated wine panniers for 4 wine bottles & Hi-Vis Helmet. This is bike hire with extras… friendly up-to-date advice, tools to navigate your day, a detailed cellar door map, a video on the cellar doors to help you decide who you would like to visit, a full emergency backup service if you need help, free collection of wines. A day made for relaxing in beanbags, nibbling on cheese platters, and tasting beautiful wines.

Jimmy has worked in the Marlborough wine industry for 20 years in a variety of roles including work in viticulture,cellar, sales and as a wine tutor. He loves the region and has a strong knowledge of all aspects of the business. Through industry contacts he is able to help you look behind the label and discover the delights of this beautiful wine region.
07Afternoon wine tour with a lunch stop. A great option for people who desire the expert knowledge and connections that a winemaker tour guide can offer. A compact tour with time for lunch at a winery (at own cost). On our half day tour you get up close and personal with the Marlborough wine region. You visit 3-4 wineries which can include a visit to Makana Chocolate Shop. Lunch at a vineyard restaurant is always a highlight for our half-day customers. The half day small group winery tour has an itinerary but the tour guide will invite participants to make winery requests and vineyard suggestions. If you have a favorite wine that you would like to taste and visit then we will do our best to take you there on this Half day Winery tour. This tour does not include a visit to Cloudy Bay, Fromm and Hans Herzog. 08Taste some of New Zealand's most vibrant and flavorful wines at the multi-award winning Marlborough cellar doors on this full-day small-group tour. During this scenic journey around the valley, you will encounter a range of fruity Sauvignon Blancs, lusty Aromatics and Pinot Noir to die for. 09With a winemaker or local legend as your guide; your tour starts with an informative vineyard stroll. You can ask all those curly questions, and capture some great vineyard photos. During your full day tour you visit 4-6 wineries which could include a local brewery (depending on the preferences of the group), with over 40 cellar doors to choose from, if you’ve got a favorite we’ll do our best to get you there. We generally focus on a new Zealand family owned vineyards and wineries but can also visit the small boutique and organic vineyards. This tour does not include a visit to Cloudy Bay, Fromm and Hans Herzog. If Cloudy Bay is a must see then please book our Gourmet Gold Tour or a Private Wine tour Lunch at a vineyard restaurant is always a highlight and is at your own cost. There is opportunity to visit the Makana Chocolate Shop. Visit 4-6 wineries.
10Travel in a luxury minibus to the famous cellar doors of Marlborough on this approx. 5-hour tour. Compare the aromas of Marlborough's finest wines and taste the passion that goes into every bottle; then visit the barrel rooms and chat about viticulture and wine making. You will visit up to five wineries ranging from the internationally famous to boutique, family-run estates. Finish the day with a nibble of hand made gourmet chocolates at our chocolate factory.
