The cave is truly incredible, offering a diverse range of features like slot canyons, waterfalls, ribbons, and countless fossils. We encountered several salamanders, crickets, and fish. Wes was a fantastic guide, demonstrating extensive knowledge of the cave and a deep commitment to its preservation. He also captures plenty of photos to share, which is helpful when it's tricky to use your camera. While the adventure was challenging, with some narrow passages and belly crawls, reaching the unique inner areas was immensely satisfying.
There was so much to navigate through, making for a truly adventurous experience. The extreme tour lasted around 6 hours as we explored various side areas, with plenty of optional activities available to enhance our journey.
We arrived 15 minutes early and waited 45 minutes, but the tour operator never appeared and was unreachable by phone or text. The company only offered a refund and no other compensation, despite us driving two days for this experience.
This was an incredible experience! It truly tests your limits. Wes, our guide, was fantastic, allowing us ample time to navigate through the challenges. There are narrow areas, and for a few hours, you only have your headlamp for illumination as you crawl through a water-filled tunnel, but it's absolutely worth it! It's unlike anything you've ever done before.
My husband and I had a great time exploring the cave with Wes Sims. His enthusiasm for caving made the experience informative and enjoyable. It was a fantastic adventure—challenging, beautiful, wet, muddy, and educational. I highly recommend it!
