This was our first experience with a scavenger hunt through Let's Roam, and we had a lovely afternoon exploring while learning interesting facts about our city's history. We participated in the hunt late Saturday afternoon and recommend trying it earlier in the day or on a weekday to enjoy the open museums, which were closed during our visit. We're looking forward to trying more hunts in different locations soon.
My boyfriend attends school at Samford in Birmingham, and we decided to explore the city's history through a scavenger hunt. It was incredibly enjoyable, especially when completing each task, and the timing for each was just right. We walked for about half the duration and drove for the rest, though it took us longer than 2 hours to finish everything. We are definitely interested in trying scavenger hunts in other cities as well. Overall, the area felt safe, though there were a few less secure spots, so we made sure to keep to ourselves. I recommend this as a fun weekend activity.
No one was available to assist us, and we were unable to participate because there was no one present. We left without receiving a refund. I hope improvements can be made.
