• The palace was constructed from 1902 to 1926, showcasing a combination of Rajput, Mughal, and European architectural influences. It was commissioned by the British-regulated regency for Maharaja Ganga Singh (1881-1942) during his childhood and is named in honor of his father, Maharaja Lall Singh. The three-story structure is made of red sandstone sourced from the Thar Desert. It features grand pillars, elaborate fireplaces, Italian colonnades, and detailed lattice and filigree designs. Currently, the palace is home to The Shri Sadul Museum, located in the west wing, and contains the fourth largest private library globally, alongside the residential quarters of the Bikaner royal family. • This fort is among the few significant ones in Rajasthan not situated on a hilltop, built during the rule of Raja Rai Singh, the sixth ruler of Bikaner, who reigned from 1571 to 1611 AD. Its construction wrapped up in 1594. Despite several attempts to seize the fort, it remained unconquered, except for a single-day occupation by Kamran Mirza, the second son of the Mughal Emperor Babur. The Rathors defeated the Mughals in the ensuing battle. Spanning an area of 5.28 hectares, the fort comprises various palaces, temples, and pavilions, reflecting a blend of architectural styles.
