This temple is dedicated to Karni Mata, who is regarded as an incarnation of Goddess Durga. According to legend, Karni Mata's son drowned in a pond while trying to drink from it. She implored Yama, the God of Death, to bring her son back to life. Initially, he declined but eventually agreed, granting her the wish that all her sons would be reborn as rats. Consuming food that has been touched by these rats is deemed an honor. The Temple features large silver gates and intricate marble carvings donated by Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner. You can spend some time at the temple, and if fortunate, you might catch a sight of a white rat, which is seen as a special blessing. After concluding your visit, return transportation to your hotel in Bikaner will be provided.
