What's the itinerary?+
• Begin with a walking tour of one of Rajasthan's historic old towns. Transportation will be provided from your hotel in a tuk tuk (auto-rickshaw) to the Old City and the impressive Jain Bhandasar Temple. Finished in the early 16th century, the temple features a beautifully crafted, colorful interior. A stairway to the first floor provides a good view of the city, followed by a stroll through the bangle (arm jewelry/bracelets), spice, and vegetable market, as well as ‘Tea Street’. As you continue through Bikaner’s narrow streets and vibrant scenes, you will make a stop at Rampuria Street to admire some striking examples of traditional red sandstone ‘havelis’ (private mansions). Conclude the walking tour with tea served at a haveli that has been transformed into a heritage hotel, offering a close-up look at one of these remarkable structures.
