This day trip from Beirut spans about ten hours and includes hotel pickups between 7:45 AM and 8:30 AM. The first stop is Jeita Grotto, a stunning cave system where you’ll enjoy a scenic cable car ride to the upper cave and then a train ride to the lower cave, capped off with a boat ride through the underground river cavern.
Next is the impressive statue of Our Lady of Lebanon in Harissa. This site offers panoramic views of Jounieh Bay, reminiscent of Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer. A cable car ride takes you to the statue. Finally, you will visit Byblos, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities, where you’ll walk through the old souk, explore Byblos Castle, and see the Fossils Museum and Wax Museum before returning to Beirut by around 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
