We had an incredible day. Pickup from our hotel was even a bit earlier than expected, and we proceeded to the office where we prepared for our adventure. Each of us received a complimentary bottle of water, and everything unfolded as scheduled. Upon arriving at Mzar in Fareya, our driver was extremely friendly and assisted us in getting great deals on ski rentals. It was truly a day to cherish, and we will certainly choose Zingy for our next trip to Lebanon.
The ski resort is well-kept and caters perfectly to both beginners and experienced skiers. I really enjoyed the stunning mountain views, and there are several shops available for ski equipment rentals, along with nice restaurants nearby.
Lebanon offers an incredible winter experience, especially the stunning natural scenery featuring beautiful snow, just a short distance from the city. Coming from a place where skiing requires expensive travel, I find Faraya to be a true winter paradise. The city is home to numerous clubs catering to both professional skiers and snowboarders, as well as various other snow activities. For those preferring to simply relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, this is undoubtedly the best winter activity in Lebanon. Affordable chalets are readily available, making it easy to have a wonderful winter vacation with loved ones.

My day in Faraya was fantastic, thanks to my driver Ali who arrived promptly. After skiing at Mzaar, he suggested we visit Byblos, which I had planned for another day. On our way, we stopped at the Harysay Church, where I had a deeply spiritual experience. We then explored the Byblos citadel and the old souk of Jbeil, perfect for souvenir shopping. The trip was so informative that it left me uncertain about what to do on my upcoming days in Lebanon. Ali, the driver and guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I highly recommend this experience.
Our driver, Ali, provided an exceptional experience. He arrived on time, ensured we made it to our destination using snow taxis, and helped us find a ski rental shop conveniently located near the lifts. The rental shop was very accommodating, even treating us to fresh coffee while we waited for our fittings and for the traffic to ease before our return to Beirut. Ali was there when we were ready to head back and ensured our safe journey, especially considering the challenging conditions with snow plows working after recent snowfall. The facilities catered well to skiers of all abilities.
