It was delightful to see them come close while munching on grass, and the young ones playing together was particularly entertaining.

Due to heavy rainfall, Minneriya National Park was closed during our visit. However, we were promptly notified and switched our safari to Hurulu Eco Park, where we had the chance to see elephants up close.

Our guide was friendly and provided clear, understandable explanations in English, making it easy for us as Germans to follow along. His extensive experience was evident.
