Nathan is an exceptional tour guide with extensive knowledge of Acadia National Park. On our first of four days there, we asked him to lead us to some hidden gems, and he certainly delivered. Despite the steamy 95-degree weather, we enjoyed a fantastic experience in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan. We visited multiple sites and appreciated returning to the cool van, where Nathan had water ready for us. He also provided a great narrated tour through town while driving. The tour is tailored to your preferences, weather conditions, and your group's hiking ability. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour. Thank you, Nathan!

We really appreciated the sites we visited at Acadia. Although the fog prevented us from enjoying the view at the mountain's peak, it was intriguing to see the mist move across the landscape. Our guide was friendly and approachable, though she could have provided more information about our stops. However, she was well-versed in the park and allowed us ample time to explore. Thunderhole was enjoyable for everyone, and one member of our group ventured down to the cobblestone beach, noting that it was tricky due to the shifting stones. She also took us to view some of the Rockefeller bridges within the park. The vehicle was comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed having a private tour, which offered us great flexibility.
Our guide Nathan provided us with a fantastic experience exploring Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. He tailored the tour to our interests, showcasing both popular sights and his personal favorite spots. Although thick fog and strong winds obscured our view from Cadillac Mountain, Nathan delivered an engaging and informative commentary, displaying impressive acting and humor. In addition to driving, he led us on guided walks to a hidden cove and a rocky bluff. Nathan truly exemplified what a guided tour should be, making our visit exceptional. She customized the experience to fit our interests and activity levels, revealing her favorite hidden gems in the Park that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. She also provided great suggestions for enjoying Acadia and its surroundings during the remainder of our stay. Our group of six unanimously felt that the tour was a fantastic introduction to the Park, significantly enhancing the rest of our trip. The next morning, Jackie kindly returned a souvenir bag we had accidentally left in the car, showcasing her dedication and thoughtfulness that deserves more than a 5-star rating.
Our tour was canceled when the guide called in sick the night before, leaving us with no alternative options except another company with a tour costing three times as much. The offered reschedule for Monday didn’t work since we were leaving on Sunday. While we understand that illness happens, it was disappointing not to have a reliable service, especially with such limited staff. We can't recommend this guide or service based on our experience. On a positive note, the refund was issued quickly.
Our day with Ralph was fantastic. Having grown up in Bar Harbor, his passion for his hometown was evident. He guided us through much of Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, sharing numerous insights along the way. Ralph's friendly and relaxed demeanor made for a wonderful experience.
