The experience was not the best as the system failed to track our location. While it might have been user error, I did follow all provided instructions. I felt let down.
It was not possible for me to activate my program, and changing the date proved to be quite difficult. Communication regarding this issue was lacking, and the scheduled date experienced heavy rain, making it unsuitable for the tour.
The experience was quite informative, but it drained my phone’s battery too quickly, forcing me to stop listening. I was really enjoying it until that point.
The narration was outstanding, providing fascinating insights about Acadia National Park. The GPS functioned effectively, although it did lose signal briefly, but we were able to restart it once the signal returned.
As you prepare to drive from the Visitor Center Parking lot, you enter your code to begin the audio tour. It took us a little time to locate the code since we had to include Viator and WalknTours, but after calling the provided number, we received the code and set off!
The tour was enjoyable, but we experienced a loss of network connectivity, which left us unable to hear much of the guide's information. As a result, we missed out on about half of the details.
The audio tour is fantastic, with plenty of choices for stops. However, the main issue is the overwhelming crowds and the lack of parking, which prevented us from completing the tour.
The narrator provided excellent insights about the park and offered helpful tips throughout. The bird sounds during silent moments were a lovely addition. We did experience some connectivity issues in the park, making it hard to access the narrative at times. Overall, it was worth the $9.95.
The information provided was very useful, with excellent suggestions for stops to discover the most captivating sights. Thanks to the app, we found the popovers at Jordan Pond House, which we would have otherwise missed. The GPS functioned perfectly, even when we ventured up to Cadillac Mountain at our scheduled time. We believe it was a fantastic value.
The self-guided tour failed to operate despite following all the instructions. Visiting the check-in station turned out to be pointless.
